I recently visited a popular Shanghai cuisine restaurant near Sheung Wan MTR station for lunch. The meal started with flavorful appetizers and refreshing cold dishes like Zhenjiang cured meat and smoked egg with caviar. The Yunnan mushroom and chicken soup was rich and aromatic, while main dishes such as kung pao prawns, cherry pork, and crispy fish fillet were all well-executed. The signature soup dumplings were juicy and satisfying. A light white fungus dessert rounded off the enjoyable meal.
